What areas do you cover?
Clapham Paws provides professional dog walking and pet care services in Clapham and Brixton, South London. Beverly's regular walking areas include Clapham Common and Brockwell Park in Brixton. If you're nearby and unsure whether Beverly can reach you, please get in touch.
Are you DBS checked?
Yes, Beverly is DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and has over 8 years of professional dog walking experience. Your dog is in safe, trusted hands.
How many dogs are in a group walk?
Group walks have a maximum of 4 small to medium dogs. Large dogs are not accepted on group walks and should book a solo walk instead. Beverly carefully matches dogs by size, temperament, and energy level to ensure safe and enjoyable walks for everyone. Only dog-friendly, social dogs are accepted on group walks.
Do you walk dogs in all weather?
Yes, Beverly walks in all weather conditions — rain or shine! Dogs need their exercise and stimulation regardless of the forecast. In extreme weather (heavy storms or dangerous heat), walk times or duration may be adjusted for your dog's safety and comfort, and Beverly will always communicate any changes in advance.
Can you administer medication to my dog?
Yes, Beverly is experienced in administering oral medication, eye drops, and other routine treatments. Please let her know about any medical needs during the initial consultation so she can discuss the best approach for your dog's care.
What happens on the first walk?
Before the first walk, Beverly arranges a free meet-and-greet at your home. This gives her a chance to meet your dog, learn about their temperament, exercise needs, and any special requirements. It also lets your dog get comfortable with Beverly in familiar surroundings. She'll collect your keys and discuss the best schedule for your dog.
Can I choose my dog's leash length?
Absolutely. You can let Beverly know your preferences for how your dog is handled during walks, including leash length, whether they can go off-lead in certain areas, and any other handling instructions. Beverly tailors every walk to your wishes and your dog's individual needs.
Do you offer discounts for multiple dogs?
Yes! If you have two or more dogs from the same household, each additional dog is 50% off the service price. The discount is applied automatically when you book.

Beverly carries your puppy in a provided sling where necessary, gently introducing them to the sights, sounds, and smells of the neighbourhood to build their confidence. Puppies must weigh no more than 4kg. Sessions cost £20.
What is doggy boarding?

Boarding costs £28 per night.
